We can't wait to see you!

300 Harborview Plaza
La Crosse, WI 54601

The WisDems team is excited to welcome you back to our first in-person State Convention since 2019!

This year, the State Convention will take place on the banks of the beautiful Mississippi River, in the newly constructed La Crosse Center. Wisconsin Democrats will gather in La Crosse from around the state to celebrate the wins we’ve worked so hard to achieve, and to rally ahead of the crucial elections this Fall.

At the Convention, we will rally alongside our neighbors, friends, and elected officials to re-elect Governor Evers and oust self-serving Ron Johnson in November, and to celebrate and uplift the progressive agenda Democrats continue to fight for. We will re-center our values and re-unite with community members. And, we will infuse our grassroots with the skills & resources needed to win this November.

Read on for additional information and resources ahead of this year’s State Convention. We hope to see you there!

2022 Congressional District Conventions

Business at CD Conventions typically includes election of CD officers and platform and resolutions debate, among other things.

To find your Congressional District Chair’s contact information, click this link. Delegates to State Convention are not required to attend CD Conventions, but can get priority access to State Convention Delegate spots within their county party if they first attend the CD Convention.

Follow this link to find your Congressional District Convention’s date & location!

NOTE: Delegate allocations for this year’s state & CD conventions have been calculated based off of vote totals from the congressional district lines that have been in place for the past decade. Delegates who have been redrawn into new districts are encouraged to attend the conventions of their new districts as guests. Starting in 2023 we will proceed using the vote totals based off of the 2022 Senate race with the new maps for calculating delegate allocations. Eligibility for P&R committee member/alternate elections should be based on the new CD maps.

Constitutional Amendments & Platform & Resolutions

Two of the main facets of this year’s State Convention will be 1) the consideration of constitutional amendments submitted by counties, and 2) consideration of resolutions and platform amendments.
