As ACA Open Enrollment Ends, Wisconsinites See Premiums Skyrocket

  • Over 300,000 Wisconsinites rely on the ACA

MADISON, Wis. — Today, ACA open enrollment for 2026 is coming to a close, and due to the GOP’s  purposeful defunding of this program that helps over 300,000 Wisconsinites afford health care, Wisconsinites will be facing higher premium prices next year. With premiums rising on average 30%, people are going to have to start choosing between medical bills and putting groceries on the table.
