Bryan Steil Champions Energy Loan Largely Funded Under Biden Administration
MADISON, Wis. — Today, Bryan Steil stood alongside Energy Secretary Chris Wright and championed a new loan to Alliant Energy that was primarily funded by the Biden administration’s Inflation Reduction Act.
“Bryan Steil continues to try to piggyback on Democratic accomplishments in order to save his failing re-election campaign,” said Democratic Party of Wisconsin spokesperson Rachel La Due. “From recently claiming credit for Gov. Tony Evers’ state Medicaid funding to now championing Democratic-funded energy infrastructure, Steil is grasping at straws to defend his vote for the OBBB and the six times he voted against ending the cost-raising war in Iran that has caused household energy bills to surge.”
