Anti-Abortion Extremist Eric Hovde Refuses to Protect Access to Medication Abortion

MADISON, Wis. — Today, the Supreme Court is hearing a case that could ban access to mifepristone. Eric Hovde, who supported overturning Roe v. Wade, is “totally opposed to abortion,” and “opposed legalized abortion,” “from conception,” has refused to answer questions on if he would protect Wisconsinites’ ability to make their own medical decisions and maintain access to this safe and commonly used pill used in 63% of abortions.

The only reason we are facing this threat to ban mifepristone is because Roe v. Wade was overturned, with Eric Hovde’s support.
