REMINDER: Brad Schimel Wants to Repeal the Affordable Care Act
MADISON, Wis. — Brad Schimel wants to take away access to health care for hundreds of thousands of Wisconsinites who have been able to access affordable coverage for themselves and their families through the Affordable Care Act (ACA). Last year alone, the ACA health care plans reached record enrollment highs in Wisconsin. Now, Brad Schimel is running for a Supreme Court seat where he will weigh in on important issues like access to health care.
“As Wisconsin’s worst Attorney General, Brad Schimel led a national lawsuit pushing to repeal the Affordable Care Act—an effort that would have ripped away health care coverage from over 20 million Americans and made our country sicker,” said Democratic Party of Wisconsin Communications Director Joe Oslund. “Brad Schimel is openly hostile to Wisconsinites’ health care, and he would leave Wisconsinites at the mercy of insurance companies and Big Pharma on the Wisconsin Supreme Court.”
Here’s how Brad Schimel wants to take away health care from Wisconsinites:
-
Brad Schimel called the ACA, which has helped over 260,000 Wisconsinites gain access to affordable health care a “train wreck.”
-
As Attorney General, Brad Schimel led a dangerous, multi-state legal challenge to the ACA to end affordable health care coverage for millions of people across the country.

Brad Schimel used his attempts to rip away health care from Wisconsinites to raise money for his campaign.
