DVO’S DADDY OF THE WEEK: BRYAN STEIL
It seems Van Orden was seeking solidarity with his fellow soon-to-be-unemployed Wisconsin Republican congressman, Bryan Steil. Van Orden tweeted in support of Steil’s phony Stop Insider Trading Act which, despite its name, still allows insider trading.

Van Orden wants to act like he’s ending corruption out in D.C. only to provide loopholes that completely exclude Donald Trump and allow the wealthiest congressional members to continue to profit off of stocks. However, Van Orden is so far down the MAGA rabbithole that he has already defended Trump’s stock trading.
AI DUCKS
In case you missed it, last week Rebecca Cooke sent a cease and desist letter to Van Orden over the countless deepfakes he has made of Cooke. Any guesses on if Van Orden showed an ounce of respect to his opponent? If you guessed no, you would be correct.

The AI slop generator Van Orden uses is Elon Musk’s Grok, which has literally called itself “mechahitler” and produces sexually explicit content of users without consent. But truly, Van Orden is in a difficult position here—Elon Musk is bankrolling his reelection campaign. On a completely separate note…can someone explain why so many different versions of AI ducks? Is Van Orden experimenting with bad AI animation because he knows he needs to be thinking about different career options for the near future?
SPELLING IS HARD
Van Orden was having a bit of a hard time with the English language at 10pm on a Monday, trying to type the word “volunteer.” What’s even more interesting is he spelt the word wrong, edited the post, and spelt the word wrong again but put a period in front of it.

This Whine Wednesday editor is starting to feel guilty making fun of his social media use. At what point do we say that this is just a man who may be struggling mentally and went to congress instead of therapy. Side note—is he … volunteering to be a part of said firing squad?
HIGH GAS PRICES=PROPAGANDA
In case you were holding out hope for Van Orden to do anything about rising gas prices, we have some bad news. Van Orden is now claiming that people upset about high gas prices are falling for propaganda.

There are so many things wrong with this post, we don’t even know where to begin. First of all, gas prices are up $1.37 from a year ago in Wisconsin, and it’s not like people are only getting a gallon of gas every time they fill up. High diesel prices are estimated to cost Wisconsin dairy farmers between $45,000 and $60,000 a year, and those costs are being passed down to consumers. And since we’ve got Mr. Propaganda expert over here, we’d like to ask a simple question: What are Van Orden’s thoughts on Trump’s midterm ad that is literally paid for by the U.S government? We’d love to know.
