MADISON, Wis. — In honor of Veterans Day, Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Ben Wikler issued the following statement:
“We owe an enormous debt to all those who have answered the call and served our nation. From the GI Bill to investing in the Veterans Administration, Americans in public office have sought to honor the service of those who have worn our nation’s uniform, but our debt can never be fully repaid. President Biden has continued this work by signing the PACT Act, the most significant expansion of VA health care benefits in decades—delivering lifesaving care to more than 400,000 veterans and survivors. Today—and every day—we recognize the sacrifice that our service members and their families have made in the defense of our freedom.”
