WisDems Statement on Eric Hovde Attending Donald Trump’s MAGA Rally in Green Bay
MADISON, Wis. — Today, Democratic Party of Wisconsin Rapid Response Director Arik Wolk released the following statement in response to the news that Eric Hovde will attend the Donald Trump MAGA rally in Green Bay today:
“Eric Hovde appearing with Donald Trump tonight is further proof that we can’t trust a megamillionaire California bank owner to represent Wisconsin values. Hovde has already shown he’ll put partisan, MAGA politics above Wisconsinites by appearing with a January 6 convict who encouraged rioters to violently steal shields from police officers. From wanting to fully repeal the Affordable Care Act, to banning abortion, and cutting Social Security and Medicare, we can’t let Hovde and Trump impose their MAGA agenda on Wisconsin.”

How does he square his pledge for ‘unity’ in politics with supporting such divisive and partisan politicians and events?
