Bridge Building: This type of outreach is focused on primarily listening to the voters and learning about the issues that are most important to them. This a valuable opportunity to hear from voters & build relationships with them.
The Child Tax Credit: We will be mobilizing our grassroots network to talk to voters & highlight the positive impact of legislation in the American Rescue Plan. Since July 15th, monthly checks have started flowing to the vast majority of American parents in the form of refundable child tax credit payments.
These checks create an enormous opportunity to make vividly clear to voters that voting for Democrats yields concrete results—and that Senator Ron Johnson & Republicans opposed these payments and could yet undercut them. The idea is to talk to voters and highlight the meaningful impact that Democratic legislation has on their lives & emphasize the importance of continuing to elect Democrats.
