WisDems Response to Troubling Report that Eric Hovde’s Bank is Facing a Lawsuit for Elder Abuse and Wrongful Death in Nursing Home

MADISON, Wis. — Democratic Party of Wisconsin Rapid Response Director Arik Wolk released the following statement responding to the troubling report from the New York Times that Eric Hovde’s bank is facing a lawsuit for elder abuse and wrongful death in a nursing home the bank owns:

“This is a deeply concerning report that raises serious questions about Eric Hovde’s treatment of seniors that he will have to answer in the days ahead. From alleged elder abuse at his nursing home to his statements that nursing home residents should not be allowed to vote, it’s becoming clear that Hovde cannot be trusted to represent Wisconsin seniors in the Senate.”
