MADISON, Wis. — Tonight, Republicans are hosting their second presidential debate in Eric Hovde’s home state of California, just miles from his $7 million oceanfront mansion in Laguna Beach.
It will be much easier for Hovde (R–Laguna Beach) to attend this debate in Southern California than the first debate in Milwaukee, since he lives so close and loves the California Reagan Library so much that it once almost made him cry tears of joy.
“We hope California Hovde gets to enjoy the debate from one of his favorite California locations… and that he leaves the GOP’s radical agenda on stage there and out of Wisconsin,” said Democratic Party of Wisconsin Rapid Response Director Arik Wolk.
